David Paul Coleman

Mr. David Paul Coleman, age 68 of Gainesville and formerly of Toccoa passed away Thursday, November 19, 2020 at the Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta.

A son of the late Hugh Dorsey Coleman and Beulah Allison Coleman, he was born December 24, 1951 in Habersham County, Georgia having lived in Toccoa for many years before moving to Gainesville. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, employed with Robertson Furniture Company for a number of years and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Sarah Coleman of Toccoa and James and Laura Coleman of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Hannah and Chan Cash, Chase Coleman, Megan Coleman, Launie Coleman and ReyAnne Coleman; one great-granddaughter, Caroline Cash; Donna Herring, longtime companion of Gainesville; sister, Reba Smith of Toccoa.

Graveside services will be held Monday, November 30, 2020, 2 O’clock p.m. at Stephens Memorial Gardens with Inurnment to follow. Military Honors by the Georgia National Guard Honor Guard and the V.F.W. Post 4346 Honor Guard.
