Roger David Dyer

Mr. Roger David Dyer, 67, of Gainesville, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2020 at The Oaks following an extended illness.

A celebration of Life service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Clint Fair will officiate. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

Born on April 2, 1953 in Duluth, he was the son of the late Selman and Annie Louise Fair Dyer. He was retired and of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Dyer is preceded in death by his daughter, Terri Dyer.

Mr. Dyer is survived by his son, David Dyer of Gainesville; son and daughter in law, Matt and Britni Dyer of Gainesville’ son, Cameron Dyer of Gainesville; grandchildren, Kalyn Dyer, Megan Dyer, Drew Dyer, Hannah Voyles, Maci Dyer, Asher Dyer; brothers and sisters in law, Steve and Jewell Dyer of Cornelia, Larry and Merrianne Dyer of Gainesville, Johnny and Becky Dyer of Gainesville, Stanley and Kay Dyer of Gainesville; mothers of his children, Teresa Hawk; and Mary Sparks Dyer and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
