Gaines R. Price

Gaines R. Price, age 76, of Sugar Hill, GA passed away December 29, 2020.  He was preceded in death by his son, Jimmy Price; parents, Cabot & Grace Shelton Price; brothers, Reuben Price, David Price, Doug Price.  He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Ruth Berry Price, Sugar Hill, GA; son Timothy Gaines (Jessica Elaine) Price, Jefferson, GA; Five Grandchildren, Cabot Price, Noah Price, Jacob Price, Gillian Price, Tinley Price. He adored his grandchildren and “He will be greatly missed”.  Sisters, Geraldine (Bill) Sosebee, Sugar Hill, GA, Barbara Williams, Chamblee, GA; mother-in-law, Janice Mahaffey Berry, Buford, GA; sisters-in-law, Betty Jo Price, Buford, GA, Marie (Mitch) Williams, Jefferson, GA; brothers-in-law, Kenneth Berry, Buford, GA, Bobby Berry, Demorest, GA; several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Mr. Price was born April 4, 1944 in Buford, GA.  He was a 1962 graduate of North Gwinnett High school, Suwanee, GA and retired from Lucent after 40 years of service.  He attended North Gwinnett Baptist Church, Suwanee, GA.  Mr. Price was a Mason and member of Buford Masonic Lodge No. 292 F.A.M.  He was a member of the Charter Gwinnett Shrine Club where he was a Shriner.  Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 3rd, 2021 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home.  Interment will be at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford, GA with a Masonic Graveside Service.  The family will receive friends Saturday, January 2, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. to 8::00 p.m.
