William F. Adams

William F. Adams, age 90 of Buford, Georgia went to be with the Lord Sunday, December 27, 2020 after complications from Pneumonia. Mr. Adams was born June 14, 1930 in Waverly, Ohio to Fredrick W. and Elnora Adams.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years Jo Elizabeth and his sister Rosalie and Nephew Bobby.  William (Bill) was a loving, caring and devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend.  He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. He loved gardening, trains, fishing and was a true craftsman.  He is survived by his sister Peggy; son's William F. Adams Jr. (Cheryl) and James M. Adams (Kim), grandchildren, Scott Adams (Krista), Jeremy Adams (Krysten), Michael Adams (Katrina), Tifanie Haun (Michael), Nick Schmalenberger (Eldina) and great-grandchildren Tyler, Canyon, Kyleigh, Rylan, Olivia, Gabriel, Elijana and Ayla. Niece Greta and Jan Marie, Nephew Craig and a multitude of friends. A graveside service will be held Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 12 noon at Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens, 3481 Hamilton Mill Road, Buford, GA 30519. In lieu of flowers the family request contributions be made to the American Heart Association or the Alzheimer’s Association.
