Joan H. Dispain

Mrs. Joan H. Dispain age 87 of Gainesville, Ga passed away on Wednesday January 06, 2021 at her residence following an extended illness. 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday January 09, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Allen Passmore will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday January 08, 2021 from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  

Mrs. Dispain was born on July 09, 1933 in Gainesville, Ga to the late Howard Lee Hallman and Pearl Elliott Hallman. She was retired from the Gainesville Times as a delivery driver and was of the Baptist Faith. She is preceded in death by her parents, Husband, Homer David Dispain, Sr., brother, Charles Hallman, sister, Christine Karr, sons-in-laws, Joe Parker and Lewis Garrett.

Joan is survived by her children, Brenda Parker of Cleveland, son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Betty Dispain of Oakwood, Kenny Dispain of Gainesville, Lori Garrett of Flowery Branch, Tony and Cheryl Dispain of Murrayville, Homer David, Jr. and Medhanit Dispain of Norcross, daughter-in-law, Bertha Dispain of Oakwood, 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 1 great great-grandchildren, sisters, Jimmie Edge of Oakwood, and Mary Townsend of Cleveland.
