Sandra Lavon Jones Jenkins

Mrs. Sandra Lavon Jones Jenkins age 74 of Gainesville, Ga passed away on Friday January 8, 2021 at her residence following an extended illness.     

Funeral services are scheduled for Monday January 11, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Randolph Beaty will officiate. The family will receive friends on Sunday January 10, 2021 from 2:00p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Sandra was born on May 03, 1945 in Gainesville, Ga to the late Harold Jones and Curtis Jones. She was employed with the Hall County School System where she worked at Johnson High School in the Cafeteria and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Eddie Jenkins, and son, Eddie Jenkins, Jr.  

Ms. Jenkins is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and George Lamon of Clermont, grandchildren, Amber Lamon, Randall Pruitt (Hannah), Ashley Lamon, Matthew Jenkins (Kayla), Stephanie Pass, Chelsea Petite, Tresee Jenkins, 9 great-grandchildren, sister, Linda Robert of Gainesville, and sister and brother-in-law, Myra  and Larry Poole of Gillsville.
