Cleon Patterson, Jr

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Cleon Patterson, Jr., age 67 of Athens, Georgia (South Jackson Community) who entered into rest Friday, January 15, 2021.  Mr. Patterson was born in Commerce, Georgia the son of the late George and Annie Lee Sargeant Patterson, was a member of Elder Road Baptist Church and was a retired Truck Driver.

Survivors include his wife Beverly June Barber Patterson of Athens.  Three daughters, Stacy Nicole Wells ( John Randall) of Athens, Lori Patterson (Josh Brewer) of Athens, and Jennifer Leigh Arwood (Michael) of Athens.  Five grandchildren,  John Tyler Ridgeway, Allie Nicole Ridgeway, Haylie Arwood, Taylor Arwood and Matthew Arwood.  Two great grandchildren and one on the way also survive.

In accordance with Mr. Patterson’s wishes, his remains were cremated and a family memorial service will be held at a later date.
