Lloyd Lee Pollard

Lloyd Lee Pollard, age 88, of Clayton, Georgia, passed away on January 19, 2021.

Lloyd was born the son of the late Elisha James Pollard and the late Hassie Mae Free Pollard on April 16, 1932. Lloyd was a truckdriver in his professional life.

Lloyd was a Christian and attended the Battle Branch Baptist Church. He was a 1949 graduate of Rabun County High School. Lloyd served his county in the United States Army and was a member of the Teamsters Local Union #728 Atlanta, Georgia. He retired from Consolidated Freight Ways.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Floyd and James Pollard; his sister, Stella Chappel; his granddaughter, Misty Lee Pollard.

His survivors include his son, Michael Dale Pollard (Claudia Parker), his cousin, Frank Edmondson, his grandson, Michael Shawn Pollard (Jessie), and great-grandchild, Trinity Lee Pollard and a very special companion, Inez Watts.

A private family service will be held with burial in the Rabun Memory Park in Tiger, Georgia.
