Jose Mendez Madrigal

Mr. Jose Mendez Madrigal, age 68, of Oakwood passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021 at his residence, surrounded by his family.

Funeral Mass will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 29, 2021 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church with interment following at Memorial Park South Cemetery. Father Miller Gomez will officiate.  The family will receive friends Thursday, January 28, 2021 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Mr. Madrigal was born May 11, 1952 to Marcelino and Elpidea Madrigal in El Tullilo, Jalisco, Mexico. He attended Prince of Peace Catholic church and worked in maintenance for Thomas Concrete.

Mr. Madrigal is survived by his wife, Clemencia Madrigal of Oakwood; his children; Humberto Madrigal, German Madrigal, Jorge Madrigal, and Jose Junior Madrigal; grandchildren; Katelyn, Joliet, Alex, Ashley, Abby, Armando, Michael, Anthony, Mathew, Destiny, Joziah, Antonio, Jorge Jr, Neveah, Callie, Anthony, Jaxson, and Myles; mother, Elpidea Madrigal, and siblings; Amado, Marcelino, Francisco, Jorge, Elvia, Carmen, Luz, Martha, Josefina, Rosa, Maria, and Elpidea.

He is preceded in death by his father, Marcelino Madrigal.
