Ms. Nelly Gisel Perez Rafael, age 28, of Gainesville, GA, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2021.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 5, 2021 at St. John Paul II Catholic Mission. Father Hernan Quevedo will officiate. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral home on Saturday, February 6, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Interment will be in Hidalgo, Mexico. Due to Covid-19, the family requests that everyone attending the visitation and service wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines.

Nelly was born September 26, 1992 to Armando Perez Mendoza and Andrea Rafael Cruz in El Dextho, Ixmiquilpan, Hidalgo, Mexico.  She worked at Foundation Foods in Quality Control and was of the Catholic Faith.

She is survived by her daughter, Ximena Sophia Vera of Gainesville, GA; parents, Armando Perez Mendoza and Andrea Rafael Cruz of Mexico; brother, Jose Manuel Perez Rafael of Gainesville, GA, Armando Perez Rafael, of Mexico; sister, Alma E. Perez Rafael, of Gainesville, GA.

Los servicios funerarios se llevarán a cabo a las 2:00 p.m. el viernes 5 de febrero de 2021 en la Misión Católica St. John Paul II. Actuará el padre Hernán Quevedo. La familia recibirá a amigos en la funeraria Memorial Park el sábado 6 de febrero de 2021 a partir de la 1:00 p.m. hasta las 7:00 p.m. El sepelio será en Hidalgo, México. Debido al Covid-19, la familia solicita que todos los asistentes a la visita y al servicio usen una máscara y se adhieran a las pautas de distanciamiento social.
