James Cloys Milford

James Cloys Milford, age 82, of Cumming, GA passed away February 6, 2021. Cloys was born in 1938, to the late Roy and Ruth Milford. When he had reached the age of 11, Cloys was saved and baptized at Oak Grove Church. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Cumming, GA. He also was a member of Matt Masonic Lodge #694 F & AM. He retired from Sawnee EMC after 33 years of service. Cloys was always hard working and made sure his family was taken care of. He had a strong work ethic. His hobbies included golfing and fishing. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife of 52 years, Barbara Hammond Milford, and sisters, Janice Milford, and Mary Margaret Milford.

He is survived by his children, Tim (Robin) Milford and Carla (Craig) Yates; grandchildren, Ryan (Rena) Milford, Justin (Cheyenne) Milford, Ferris Gilreath, Lauren (James Montgomery) Yates, and Daniel Yates; great grandchildren, Phoenix, Marley, Jayme, and Abel; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA, with Rev. Ruel Martin, Rev. Craig Richard, and Rev. Danny Bennett officiating. A private family graveside will be held at Sawnee View Gardens. Visitation will be held Wednesday, from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
