Willie Morris Cash was born November 4, 1961 to late Henry (Sun) Cash and Willie Lou Simpson Cash. He departed this life on February 15, 2021. He was preceded in death by brother James Cash and sister Sadie Johnson on July 3, 1981. He was united in marriage to Venetia Willis Cash and out of this union they had two wonderful children Kelcey Jarryan Cash and Meshondra Quinneshia Chash. He was a devoted father and a extraordinary grandfather. They were his heart! He was a high school graduate of Stephens County High School in the class of 1980. He was a member of Ellis Chapel CME Church in Carnesville, GA. He sung in the choir and in several gospel groups with his auntie Bessie Simpson as his director and mentor in his gospel music career. he loved coaching in the Pee Wee League football team in which his son played for, and his daughter was a cheerleader. He was always there for his children and supported them through all their endeavors.
He loved to fish, cook, and have friends and family time. He always like t help people if he could, especially the elders on both sides of the family. His passion for cooking landed him a job to becoming a chef. His favorite slogan was "what’s my last name!"
He was survived in death by his devoted by his devoted wife Venetia Willis Cash, two dedicated children: Kelcey J. Cash, daughter Meshondra Q. Cash of Oakwood, GA., six special grandchildren: Heaven Wilkins, Amadeus Wilkins, Key'ariun Randolph, Noah Simpson, Al'layah Cash, Adarius Hudson, one aunt Bessie Simpson, four sister-in-laws: Nettie Sue Cash of Toccoa, GA, three sister in laws & two brother in laws Troy ( Cynthia) Willis of Gainesville Ga. Master Sargent U.S. Airforce Quentin (Erica) Willis Virginia, and Marilyn Cash.
Visitation Saturday, February 20th between the hours of 12 noon to 8pm at Wimberly Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, February 21st at 2pm at Wimberly Funeral Home.
