Willie Gene Atkinson

Mr. Willie Gene Atkinson was born on May 28, 1951 to the late Mr. John Davie Atkinson and Ms. Carrol (Riden) Gross. He departed this earthly life on Saturday, February 13, 2021 on his mothers’ birthday. Mr. Atkinson did not have any children. He leaves to cherish his lovable memories to his blessed and audacious wife Mrs. Sinnie Thomas Atkinson, a special goddaughter (Santricia Jones). He leaves his most Godly memories to his family, four sisters: Abriann and Steve Arnold, Patricia Ann Long, Dorothy Ann Dealss, Renea Jean Evans, Shamar Riden, special brother Allen Smith, Hills family, Mrs. Rosa Williams, Thomas Family and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, uncle, and aunt. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 24th, 2021 between the hours of 12-8pm at Bethel Baptist Church. The Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, February 24th, 2021 at 2pm at Bethel Baptist Church. Professional Service Entrusted to Wimberly Funeral Home.
