Hugh Flowers Hamil

Mr. Hugh Flowers Hamil, 67, of Maysville, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Born on April 19, 1953 in Atlanta, he was the son of the late James and Cordelia Brumby Hamil. He was a retired bus driver for the City of Gainesville.

Mr. Hamil is survived by his wife, Ann Chadwick Hamil of Maysville; son, Shawn Richards of Maysville; son and daughter in law, Michael and Rebekah Richards of Lawrenceville; grandson, Thomas Michael Richards of Lawrenceville; granddaughter, Katlynn Johnson of Baton Rouge, LA; brothers, Tom Hamil of Waynesville, NC, Jim Hamil of Maitland, FL, Frank Hamil of Marietta and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
