Annie Evans Walden

Obituary Date: Tuesday, March 2, 2021

Mrs. Annie Evans Walden, 82, of Gainesville, passed away March 2, 2021.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 6, 2021 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Mercy Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral on Friday, March 5th from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Due to Covid-19, the family requests that everyone attending the visitation and service wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines.

Born on August 27, 1938 in Jefferson, GA she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Rona Timms Evans. She was retired from Crystal Farms and a member of Mercy Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Walden is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Walden; brother, Tom Evans; sisters, Mildred Passmore, Jessie Dean Evans; grandchildren, Sarah Williams and Bradley Bridges.

Mrs. Walden is survived by her daughter, Donna Gaines (Kenneth) of Gainesville; daughter and significant other, Linda Walden and Ray Williams of Talmo; daughter, Renee Evans (Jockey) of Talmo; son, Randall Walden (Melinda) of Madison, GA; son, Charles Walden of Gainesville; brother, C.T. Evans of Cumming; sisters, Bobbie Sue Gaddis of Anderson, SC, Audrey Hicks of Loganville, Juanita Grizzle of Gainesville; brothers, Sammy Evans of Oakwood, Harold Evans of Gainesville; sisters, Mary Dean Ellis of Abilene, TX, Polly Davidson of San Antonio, TX; 6 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
