Mr. Ronald J. Landress, 85, of Dahlonega, passed away March 13, 2021 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 15, 2021 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Scott A Thomas will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Monday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Due to Covid-19, the family requests that everyone attending the visitation and service wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
Born on May 26, 1935 in Lilburn, GA he was the son of the late Luther Lee and Wessie Ann Black Landress. He was retired from General Motors with 30 years of service and was a member of Mineral Bluff Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Landress is preceded in death by his daughters, Wanda Whitmore, Vicky Hopkins, Lisa Courette; brother, Leonard Landress and sisters, Annie Lee, Lorene Bowman, Dodie Orr, Pauline George and Mildred Mason.
Mr. Landress is survived by his wife, Pat Landress of Dahlonega; sons and daughters in law, Dennis and Gail Landress of Winder, Rick and Donna Landress of McCaysville, Bill and Sandy Landress of Gainesville; 13 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and a number of other relatives.
