Donald Lee Young, Sr.

Donald Lee Young, Sr., age 70, of Ball Ground, GA passed away March 13, 2021.  He was preceded in death by his parents Cliff and Edith Young; brother, Stanley Clifford and Sandra Smith Young; grandson, Rylan Johnson.  He is survived by his wife of thirty years, Cynthia Leverett Young; children, Matthew David (Miranda) Young, Jasper, GA, Rebeccah (Jarrett) Devonna-Johnson, Jasper, GA, Shannon M. Lemicux, Cumming, GA, Robert DeWitt Young, Ball Ground, GA, Donald Lee Young, Jr., Ball Ground, GA, Cayla J. Williams (Jessie), Canton, GA; brother, Billy Robert (Jean) Young, Buford, GA; sisters, Ann (James)  Myerholtz, Washington, GA, Dottie (Randy) Cronic, Mayesville, GA, Sue (Johnnie) Davis, Walnut Grove, GA; twelve grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.  Mr. Young was born on August 15, 1950 in Buford, GA.   He graduated from North Gwinnett High School, Suwanee, GA. Mr. Young was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy.  He was a maintenance man with Pacesetter Steel Service.  He was of the Methodist Faith.  A Funeral Service will be held with Military Honors at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 19, 2021 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA.  The Family will Receive Friends prior to the Service from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
