Melissa Faye Norman

Melissa Faye Norman, 59 years old, left her earthly home March 22, 2021 leaving family and friends she cherished. She will be greatly missed.

Faye was born January 3, 1962 to Lillie Maud Sutton Cantrell and the late Alfloyd Cantrell. 

Faye was proceeded in death by her brother, Robert Floyd Cantrell. 

Faye leaves to cherish her memory: Husband, Rev. Willie Norman, daughters, Bethany Marissa Garcia (Elias) and Letitia Unique Dawson, three granddaughters, Jennifer and Jasmine Garcia, Treasure Dawson. Brothers, Kenneth Craig Cantrell (Stephanie) and Myron Bradley Cantrell (Kimberly). Stepchildren, Andrea, Rashad, Rene, Shamekia and Shantel Norman, life long friend, Cedric Dawson and several aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Faye attended White county high school. She loved to work for the elderly and spent many years as a caregiver. She was a member of Travis Chapel Methodist Church where she loved to sing. She loved antique shopping and spending quality time with family and friends. She will be remembered for her big smile, contagious laugh and fun loving ways! Faye never met a stranger that didn’t soon become a friend.
