Jimmy Van Satterfield

Jimmy Van Satterfield, age 84, of Cumming, GA passed away March 28, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer Virgil & Mattie Satterfield, brothers, H.V. Satterfield, Hubert Satterfield, Huey Satterfield, Wayne Satterfield, sister, Thelma Richards and nephew, Ricky Satterfield. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and a member of New Harmony Baptist Church. He retired from General Motors after 33 years and he loved riding his bicycle.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Satterfield, of Cumming, sons & daughters-in-law, Doug & Marlene Satterfield, of Cumming, Danny & Melisa Satterfield, of Cumming, sister, Wyolene McCleskey, of Cumming, grandsons, Tyler Satterfield & Seth Satterfield.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday March 30, 2021 at New Harmony Baptist Church with Rev. Pete Martin, Rev. Johnny Purcell & Danny Satterfield officiating.  Interment will follow in Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday from 5 PM to 9 PM & Tuesday from 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
