Mr. Phil Harrison Stowers, 62, of Gainesville, passed away Sunday, March 28, 2021.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.

Born on March 25, 1959 in Gainesville, he was the son of Hugh Boyd Stowers Jr. and Grace Eleta Ritch-Stowers. He was a free-lance writer and a veteran of the United States Army.

Phil was an incredibly gifted man with a profound love for the written word. His beautiful poignant writings and musings would pierce your soul.

Phil's strong spirituality was only surpassed by his love for the Word of God. He never missed an opportunity to share his love of Jesus/Yeshua and encourage those he met with the Hebrew Aaronic Blessing (Numbers 6:24-26). he loved to sing the Hebrew Shema Blessing over people. Phil proudly served our country as a Chaplain's Assistant in the Army.

Phil traveled and taught abroad in Europe and Mongolia. His adventurous spirit loved meeting people from other cultures and experiencing delicious international cuisine. In all of his travels, his favorite was simply an All-American Burger and a beer.

Phil's heart was huge and he always looked for opportunities to bless others. His strong heart and brilliant mind will be greatly missed, live on in our hearts and never to be forgotten.

Rest Peacefully Phil, we've got it from here.
