Anna Carroll

Mrs. Anna Carroll, age 80, of Dahlonega, Georgia passed away on April 10, 2021. She was born at their family home in Bridgeport, AL on October 20, 1940. She lived the majority of her life in Virginia and worked for the Tennessee Valley Authority for many years. She spent her last 10 years here in Dahlonega. Anna was always on the go. Whether it be shopping or traveling, she always looked forward to the adventure that awaited her. 

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Ernest Carroll and her parents, William Moore and Frances Pauline Lawhorne Moore. 

She is survived by her sisters, Joyce Samples of Dahlonega and Betsy (Preston) Payne of Orme, Tennessee. She is also survived by a special nephew who helped take care of Anna in her final days, George Samples of Dahlonega. She is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, and other friends and relatives. 

It was Anna's wishes to be cremated. Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
