Domingo Antonio Alicea

Domingo Antonio Alicea, age 95, died April 12, 2021 just one week shy of his 96^th birthday. He is preceded in death by his first wife: Ramona Alicea and his second wife: Paula Maldonado.

Domingo is survived by his daughter: Ramona (Chuck) Holmgreen of Cumming, Georgia; god-daughter: Amanda Canto of Houston, Texas; grandson: Anthony David Holmgreen; and sons: Domingo Alicea, Jr. and Domingo Alicea.

Domingo was a proud Army veteran.  He loved to travel with his family. His hobby was creating his own jewelry designs, and he retired from General Motors. His secret for a long life was to keep active, and keep salsa dancing as long as you can.

The family will receive friends at McDonald and Son Funeral Home on Saturday, April 17, 2021 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm. His funeral service will be at 6:00 pm on Saturday, April 17, 2021 in the McDonald and Son Chapel. His graveside service will be Thursday, April, 29, 2021 at 1:30 pm at Georgia National Cemetery, in Canton, GA.
