Raymond Mitchell Lee

Mr. Raymond Mitchell Lee, 81, of Clermont passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 14, 2021 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Edward Chambers and Rev. Shane Seabolt will officiate. Interment will follow in Wauka Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Thursday, May 13, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on August 10, 1939 in Gainesville, he was the son of the late Newman Lee and Edith Standridge. He was retired from the Coca-Cola Company. Mr. Lee was a member of Wauka Mountain Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Lee is preceded in death by his brothers, Richard Lee, Billy Henry and twin sister, Ailine Wiley.

Mr. Lee is survived by his wife of 57 years, Maybelle Lee of Clermont; daughters and sons in law, Karen and Dwight Wood of Clermont, Patriece and Roger Sullens of Cleveland; sons, Mitchell Lee, John Lawson of Clermont; grandchildren, Alicia Nash, Grant Broom, Casey Wood, Meagan Sims; seven great-grandchildren; brother and sister in law, Tommy and Lee Lee of Clermont; brother, Teddy Lee of Clayton, GA and a number of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
