Donald Hugh Etter

Donald Hugh Etter, age 63, of Gainesville, GA passed away May 14, 2021 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a fearless battle with cancer. 

He was born on May 25, 1957 at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, TN.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Childress Etter, and brother, Jeffrey Dean Etter. 

Don is survived by his wife, Sandi Kilpatrick Etter; father and stepmother, Donald and Pauline Etter.; daughters, Amber and Ashley Etter; step-son, Daniel Smith; siblings, Steve and Debbie Childress, Denise and Charles Etter-Collins, and Viki and Gene Juzwiak. 8 grandchildren and a number of other relatives also survive.

Don was a talented musician, specifically an amazing drummer. He loved the sunshine, grilling, and get-togethers. He was very loved and cherished by his family and numerous friends. He will be greatly missed.

Don was cremated at Hillside Chapel Funeral Home & Cremation Services. There will be a private memorial held.
