Evelyn Nicholson

Mrs. Evelyn Nicholson, age 83 of Commerce passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at her residence.  Mrs. Nicholson was born in Cornelia to the late, Waco and Lillie Cantrell Nations.  Mrs. Nicholson was a homemaker.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Nicholson was also preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Nicholson and son, Charles Leroy.

Mrs. Nicholson is survived by her daughter, Deborah Nations of Danielsville; sons, Joe Leroy of Carnesville, Dale and Jeffrey Leroy both of Commerce; brothers, Charles, Bobby, and Ray Nation all of Commerce; a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren survive.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, May 22^nd at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. David Strickland officiating with the interment following at Grey Hill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 12-2 PM.
