Hugh Lee Mann

Mr. Hugh Lee Mann, age 77, of Dahlonega, Georgia passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2021 following a sudden illness. He was one of 10 children and was born on July 8, 1943 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Claude Mann and the Late Ora Williams Mann. He was affectionately known as "Daddy" and "Pawpaw" to those who will miss him the most. He was an avid outdoorsman and was amazing at remodeling and refinishing all sorts of projects. 

In addition to both parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Sherri Mann; three brothers; and one sister. 

He is survived by children, Jerry and wife Machelle Mann of Acworth and Stephen Mann of Dahlonega; grandchildren, Danielle Stovall, Tara Acord, Michael Mann, Amber Ruiz, and Austin Mann; six great-grandchildren; two brothers; and three sisters. Numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives also survive. 

Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, May 23, 2021 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home with Rev. Lyman Caldwell officiating. Interment will follow in the cemetery of Mill Creek Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until the service hour on Sunday.
