Mrs. Helen Caroline Lausman, age 89, of Dahlonega passed away peacefully Monday, May 24, 2021 with her daughter and other family at her side. She was an active member of Dahlonega Methodist Church and was a true "green thumb", as she loved her flower gardens and her landscaping.
She is survived by her daughter, Marsha Lausman of Auburn, and her sisters, Marilyn Wertz of Washington State and Sue Tinsley of Texas. Numerous nieces, nephews, other friends, and relatives also survive.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, John Lausman, Jr; parents, Clifford Breeding and Vida Graham Breeding; and siblings, Katie, Bonnie, Connie, and Louie.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday, May 29, 2021 at the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home. The Rev. Robin Parr will officiate. Interment will follow in Dahlonega Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to the service hour on Saturday at the funeral home.
