Christopher Tyrone Williams was called home on Sunday, May 30, 2021. Chris was born to the late Hugh Williams and Nancy Hudson Gaines on May 25,1970. Chris spent his final days in Atlanta, GA, the city he loved inside and out. He was born and raised in Gainesville, GA. After attending Johnson High School, he joined the US Army and served in the Desert Storm/ Gulf War. He was honorably discharged and worked as a Maintenance Manager for Gables Corporations and other companies. He enjoyed every moment of repairing any and everything that he could. He was a dedicated father and treasured his children Kayla Williams and bonus daughter Ashley Snowden. He expressed very often how much he loved them. He had a vibrant personality and always made people around him smile. That was the one thing that everyone loved about Chris. He was well known for his generous caring spirit. Chris leaves to cherish his memories: Daughters, Kayla Williams and Ashley Snowden, Mother; Nancy Hudson Gaines, Siblings; Kelli (Calvin) Thompson, Mia Williams Latimore, Myron (Lucy) Williams, Torrey (Betty) Williams. He also leaves behind aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, loved ones, and friends that he thought the world of.
The Memorial Service will be held Friday, June 4th at Memorial Park Chapel at the hour of 11am. Professional Service Entrusted to Wimberly Funeral Home.
