Roger Lee Broome

Roger Lee Broome, age 70 of Gainesville, passed away on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

                The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 6, 2021 from 2:00-5:00pm at the funeral home.

                Mr. Broome was born April 24, 1951 in Gainesville, Georgia to Toy Lee and Alice Burnett Broome. He was a welder and a member of Springway Baptist Church. Mr. Broome was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Dan Broome and Kenneth “Leck” Broome; his grandson, Riley Broome and his great-grandchildren, Zion, Ayla and Adalynn Broome.

                Mr. Broome is survived by his sons, Christopher Lee Broome and Timothy Roger Broome; daughter and son-in-law, Alice LeAnn and Jeffrey Palmer; grandchildren, Nathaniel and Aleisha Broome; Isaac Broome; Hope Truelove; Brittany and Chancey Forrester; Brianna and Brandon Temples; Brantley Palmer and Andrew Palmer; 4 great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Elaine and Jackie Bruce; sister and brother-in-law, Lorraine and Cary Lancaster; sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Charles Eubanks; sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Howard Eubanks; brother, Ronnie Broome; brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Mae Broome; brother, Randy Broome; brother and sister-in-law, James and Carol Broome; a number of nieces and nephews.
