Blanche L. Garner

Blanche L. Garner, age 78, of Cumming, GA passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2021. She was born in 1942, to the late, Clifford and Madeline Little. Blanche was a member of Liberty Grove Baptist Church in Alpharetta, GA.  She was a caregiver to many people throughout her years. She always showed love and compassion for others. Blanche was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, great grandmother, and friend to many. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her children, Kenneth Garner and Gail Hood, and siblings, Leroy, George, Jess, Betty, and Paul Little.

She is survived by her husband, L.C. Garner; grandchildren, Cassandre (Gus) Heard, Colette Hood, and Brittany (Casey) Brookshire; great grandchildren, Hannah (Braylon) Tankersley, Skyler Summers, Camron Summers, Hunter Heard, Alexis Summers, Sophie Carter, Bentley Carter, Kenleigh Brookshire, and Case Brookshire; siblings, C.M., Bobby, and Robert Little; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Liberty Grove Baptist Church in Alpharetta, GA with Rev. Dan Henderson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12:00 noon until 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
