Sherrie Lynn Holcomb Keller Daly

Sherrie Lynn Holcomb Keller Daly, age 47 of Gainesville, took her final breath and went home holding her Father’s hand on Thursday, June 17, 2021, surrounded by her family.

Sherrie was born on March 12, 1974, in East Point, Georgia, to LaDonna Bennett-Churchwell and the late Mickey Lee Bunton.  She was a general manager for Zaxby’s restaurant chain.  In addition to her father, Sherrie was preceded in death by her Papa, Thomas Eugene Churchwell; sister, Melanie Churchwell.

The love she gave each of us will forever live in our hearts and minds.  Please pray for her children, grandchildren, and family as they say goodbyes that should never have to be said.

Survivors include her husband, Chris Daly; son and daughter-in-law, Sean and Kaylee Holcomb; daughters, Caitlyn Keller, Jaida Allison, and Keira Daly; granddaughters, Kendall Jude Holcomb, Laila Lee, and Laiken Lee; mother, LaDonna Bennett-Churchwell; sister and brother-in-law, Michelle and Manuel Alarcon; sister, Tara Bennett; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jeffrey and Cary Bennett, and Tom and Michele Churchwell; life-long and forever friend, Ginger Ivey; daughter’s father and good friend, Ron Keller; 12 nephew and 6 nieces also survive.

Our celebration of Sherrie’s life is scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Saturday, June 26, 2021, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home.  A reception will follow the service.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 P.M. Saturday, prior to the celebration of life service.
