Michael Corey Johnson

Mr. Michael Corey Johnson was born on August 24, 1977, to Linda Jane Cantrell Johnson and the late Michael Louis Hall.  

He was preceded in death by his late wife Phyllis Jones, his stepfather J.T. Shields, sisters Judy Grimes, and Lakisha Hall.  

Michael was known as the family babysitter; he loved to laugh and would often make the corny jokes. You would often find Michael off to himself. He was a gentle GIANT.  

Michael leaves to cherish his memory to his children Crystal Jones, Kenyetta Bradley, grandchild Eliza Gordon. Siblings Ushonda Johnson, Jason Johnson, Terrance Johnson, Linda Johnson, Aisha Hall, Michelle Hall, Takeisha Morgan, and Taurus Morgan. And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

The visitation for Mr. Johnson will be held Friday June 25th between the hours of 12-8pm at Wimberly Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be held Saturday June 26th at the hour of 2pm at Wimberly Funeral Home. Professional Service Entrusted to Wimberly Funeral Home.
