Rachael “Binky” Stubbs Farris

Rachael “Binky” Stubbs Farris, age 93, of Gainesville, GA, passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2021.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. J. Duncan Farris.  She is survived by her children, William Duncan (Shirley) Farris of Marietta, GA, Carol Farris (Dean) Barber of Orlando, FL; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  Mrs. Farris was born March 26, 1928, in Savannah, GA and grew up in Waycross, GA.    She graduated from Druid Hills High School, Atlanta, GA in 1945 and from Agnes Scott College in 1949 with a Bachelor’s Degree.  She was a homemaker and private pilot. Mr. and Mrs. Farris lived on a yacht for many years.  She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Gainesville, GA.  Arrangements are pending.
