Norma Clark Booher

Mrs. Norma Clark Booher, 100, passed away on 8 July 2021 in Gainesville, Georgia. 

Funeral services will be held in Kent, Washington where she lived for sixty years.  Services will be held 17 July 2021 in the Kent LDS chapel, 24419 94th Ave. S., Kent, Washington at 11:00 am.  A viewing will be held in the same building at 10 am.

Norma was born 31 December 1920 in Georgetown, Idaho to Howard Nathan and Elvirta Cecelia (Smith) Clark.  She had three younger sisters, all deceased.  She is preceded in death by her husband G. Max Booher, her husband of 31 years. She is survived by her four children:  Paul (Dale Ann) Lloyd, Mark (Onn) Lloyd, Carolyn (Mark) Long, and Candyce (Ted Green) Dimock.  She has 16 grandchildren and numerous stepchildren and step- grandchildren.

Norma believed that service to others was her mission in life.  She easily made friends and enjoyed her association with others. She was a life-long member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and spent many years as a leader of the church’s women’s organization, giving countless hours of service to the needy and disadvantaged.

She is a descendent of the early pioneers of Utah and a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers where she has served in many leadership positions.

As a child, she observed her parents and grandparents offering service to the less fortunate and was greatly influenced to understand the meaning of service, compassion, and wise use of time through their examples.

She was an “elegant” lady, strong in body and spirit, always acknowledging God for her many blessings and talents.
