Gustavo “Gus” Trujillo

Mr. Gustavo “Gus” Escobedo Trujillo age 50 of Gillsville, Ga passed away on Monday July 12, 2021 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.  

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday July 16, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Father Robert Herrera will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday July 16, 2021 from 11:00-1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Gus was born on November 24, 1970 in Mexico City, Mexico to Alfredo Escobedo and Mari De La Luz.  He worked with Pilgrim’s Pride where he was a laborer and was of the Catholic Faith. He is precede din death by his mother.

Mr. Trujillo is survived by his father, Alfredo Escobedo of Gillsville, son, Matthew Escobedo Arboleda of Buford, brothers, Alfredo Jr. Escobedo of Gillsville, Oswaldo Escobedo of Gainesville, sisters, Maria Guadalupe Escobedo of Oxnatd, California, Maria del Refugio Escobedo of Bakersfield, California, and a host of nieces, nep[hews, and other family members.
