Bobby Ray Beck, Sr.

Mr. Bobby Ray Beck, Sr. age 76, of Maysville passed away Thursday, July 22, 2021 at his residence.  Mr. Beck was born in Commerce to the late, Ernest and Hazel McGinnis Beck.  Mr. Beck was retired from Shirley Feed & Seed, he was a member of Ridgeway Baptist Church, a US Army veteran, and was a retired fireman from Commerce and Maysville Fire Departments.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Beck was also preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly Beck Turk.

Mr. Beck is survived by his wife, Wanda Blalock Beck of Maysville; son, Ray Beck of Commerce; daughter, Daphne McDaniel Lambert of Maysville; son, Jefferson David McDaniel of Maysville; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren; brothers, James Beck of Gillsville, Thomas, Billy, and Larry Beck all of Commerce, and Randy Beck of Maysville; sisters, Shirley Ann Wilbanks of Jefferson, Linda Ledford of Commerce, Patsy Beck of Jefferson, and Peggy Bailey of Hartwell.

Funeral service will be held Sunday, July 25^th at 3:00 PM from Ridgeway Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Manus officiating with the interment following in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday night from 6-8 PM.
