Mr. Andrew Billy Crunkleton, age 20 of Carolina Drive, Toccoa passed away July 30, 2021 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
A son of Mary Holley Crunkleton and the late Anthony Eugene “Tony” Crunkleton, he was born June 5, 2001 in Clarke County, Georgia having lived all his life in Stephens County. He was a 2020 Graduate of Stephens County High School and was attending Truett McConnell University on a golf scholarship. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and was a member of the Youth Group at Ebenezer Baptist Church. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt, fish and play golf and he loved to hang out with his friends.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Holley Crunkleton of the home; three sisters, Taylor (Zach) Ware of Toccoa, Kasey Crunkleton and Jae Crumbley of Cumming, Georgia and Connie Crunkleton of Alpharetta, Georgia; grandparents, Robert and Ruby Holley of Wrens, Georgia; aunt and uncle, Melinda and Charles Smith of Wadley, Georgia; uncles and aunts, Randy and Cindy Crunkleton of Hartsville, South Carolina and Greg and Alisa Holley of Wadley, Georgia; a number of cousins.
Funeral services will be Monday, August 2, 2021, 2 O’clock p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Toccoa with The Reverend David Ritcey, Coach Wesley Tankersley and Pastor Crosby Harbin officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, James “Chubba” Roush, Tyler Brothers, Makale Owens, Trevor Burton, Eli Stowe, Zach Nell, Luke Ramsey and George Moore. Ridge Adams will serve as honorary pallbearer.
The family will be at the home on 218 Carolina Drive and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Hone on Sunday, 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.
Flowers are optional. Memorials may be made to the Stephens County Recreation Department, 199 Hayley Drive, Toccoa, Georgia 30577 in memory of Mr. Andrew Billy Crunkleton.
Interment will follow in the Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Andrew Billy Crunkleton.
