Sunshine Jones

Mrs. Sunshine Jones age 82 of Gainesville, Ga passed away on Thursday August 05, 2021 at Chestnut Ridge Nursing Home following an extended illness.            

Funeral services are scheduled for Monday August 09, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Gateway Memorial Park- Cleveland, Ga. Rev. Bill Trotter and Rev. Danny Herron will officiate. The family will receive friends on Sunday August 08, 2021 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Sunshine was born on March 25, 1939 in Sandersville, Ga to the late John Henry Roberts and Fannie Lou Reynolds Roberts. She was a homemaker and was a member of Community Chapel in Lumpkin County. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Richard Neal Jones, J.L. Hill, son, Rev. Ricky Neal Jones, brothers, Doug, J.B. , Bud, sisters, Kathy, Lucy, Lois.

Mrs. Jones is survived by her daughter, Vickey Ann Rider of Gainesville, daughter, Elaine Lance of Dahlonega, sisters, Lorene of Florida and Grace Roberts of Florida, grandchildren, Joey Jones, Alan Jones, Melissa Green, Robert Maynor, Sally Babcock, Marie Adams, Amber Lance, Katie Lance, 11 great-grandchildren,  and a host of other family members and friends.
