Cheryl Clements White

Mrs. Cheryl Clements White, 80, of Gainesville passed away Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Pruitt Health Care.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 14, 2021 in Memorial Park Cemetery. Matt Wilson will officiate.

Born on September 12, 1940 in Seville, GA, she was the daughter of the late Charles Franklin Clements and the late Myrtice Elizabeth Barker Clements. She was retired from J.C. Penney where she worked in Management. Mrs. White was Chairman of the Board of the American Red Cross, and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. White is preceded in death by her husband, Ben J. White.

Mrs. White is survived by her sister, Margaret Clements Bounds of Marietta; brother, Charles “Buck” Clements and his wife Mary of Augusta and a number of nieces and nephews.
