Martha Outz Bryant

Mrs. Martha Outz Bryant, 80, of Dahlonega, passed away Saturday, August 7, 2021 at her residence following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Neal Jones will officiate. Interment will follow in Yellow Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Born on July 7, 1941 in Walhalla, SC, she was the daughter of the late James Thomas Outz and the late Eva Honea Outz. Martha was a loving and faithful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She enjoyed reading often, spending time with her family and grandchildren, shopping and going on trips. Mrs. Bryant was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bryant is preceded in death by her son, Greg Bryant; sisters, Ruth Cantrell, Joyce Jones and brother, Thomas Outz.

Mrs. Bryant is survived by her husband of 57 years, Sidney Bryant of Dahlonega; daughter and son in law, Andrea and Derry Collins of Dahlonega; son and daughter in law, Steven and Laurie Bryant of Dahlonega; daughter in law, Dana Bryant of Gainesville; grandchildren, Cody and Cale Collins, Davey and Dawson Bryant, Brandon Bryant, Hailey Shropshire; great grandchildren, Harper and Greyson Collins, Lily Kate Shropshire and soon to be born Roslyn Collins; sister, Rachel Outz of Dahlonega; sisters and brothers in law, Linda and Donnie Hancock of Newnan, Nancy and Kaylear Mauldin of Clermont and a number of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
