Mrs. Alma Maude Adam, 79, of Gainesville, GA passed away August 10, 2021 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, August 13, 2021 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Pastor W. Michael Williams will officiate. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Thursday, August 12, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. For those who plan to attend the funeral, the family would love for you to wear a touch of pink.
Born on June 29, 1942 in Gainesville, she was the daughter of the late Bill Crane and the late James Gertrude McDaniel Crane. She was retired from Milliken of New Holland. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Adam is preceded in death by her husband, Skip Adam and son, Billy Marcus Simmons and her beloved dog, Lulu.
Mrs. Adam is survived by her grandson, Daniel Lee Simmons of Gainesville, FL; grandson, Cody James Simmons of Pendergrass; sisters and brothers in law, Jo Ann and Carl Lyle of Oakwood, Judy and Mike House of Flowery Branch; special son, Phillip Rollings of Gainesville; special niece, Shirley Adams of Murrayville; lifetime friend, Charlotte Wilson of Gainesville and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family requests donations to Grace Baptist Church or Operation Christmas Child-Samaritan’s Purse in lieu of flowers.
