Sybil Allen Eades

Mrs. Sybil Allen Eades, 91 passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at Lakewood Baptist Church. Dr. Tom Smiley, Dr. Jerry Gill, Rev. Don Ormsbee and Dr. Tyler Smiley will officiate. A private burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. A reception will be held at Lakewood Baptist Church after the service.

Born on April 30, 1930, in Gainesville, she was the daughter of the late Archie Allen and Mamie Jenkins Allen. She was retired from Eades Treasures and was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Eades is preceded in death by her husband, Lewis C. Eades; sister, Bernice Allen Webb and brother, Aubrey Allen.

Mrs. Eades is survived by her daughter, Deborah Eades Mauldin (Stanley) of Gainesville; son, Mack Eades of Gainesville; daughter, Terri Eades Shugart (Ken) of Cumming; son, Phillip Eades (Gail) of Auburn; son, Barry Eades of Gainesville; son, Allen Eades (Jennifer) of Gainesville; daughter, Mary Eades Smallwood (Greg) of Gainesville; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; sister, Ellen Allen Bennett (Jerry) of Gainesville; brother, Wilton Allen (Annelle) of Gainesville and a number of nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Lakewood Baptist Church Building Fund 2235 Thompson Bridge Rd, Gainesville, GA 30501
