Jay Calvin Skaggs

Mr. Jay Calvin Skaggs, Jr. 28, of Gainesville passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2021 following a sudden illness.

Memorial services will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Born on June 25, 1993 in Winder, GA, Mr. Skaggs was the son of Jay Skaggs, Sr. and Paula JoAnn Daniel.

Mr. Skaggs is survived by his father, Jay Skaggs, Sr. of OH; mother, Paula Daniel of Gainesville; son, Braxton Skaggs of OH; brothers, Michael and Christopher Betts of GA, sister, Elizabeth Skaggs and Catherine Betts of GA.; half-sisters, Tyler Skaggs and Paula Skaggs of OH and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
