James Thomas “Tommy” Robinson

James Thomas “Tommy” Robinson age 83, of Gainesville entered rest Sunday August 22, 2021 at his residence.

Tommy was born June 29, 1938 in Gainesville to the late Paul & Claire Smith Robinson. He worked at Pilgrims Pride for a number of years and was a member of Cool Springs Baptist Church. He loved working on cars and was a jack of all trades and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Tullis Robinson; brothers, Dennis Robinson & Paul Edward Robinson.

Survivors include, son, Doyle Thomas Robinson; daughter, Stacey (Paul) Bennett; grandchildren, Wayne, Matt & Heather; niece, Barbara Loggins & nephew, Larry Robinson.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday August 26, 2021 at the Ward’s Chapel with Rev. Franklin Grant officiating. Burial will follow in Cool Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12-2 p.m. Thursday August 26, 2021 at the funeral home.
