Martha Lamb Kennedy

Mrs. Martha Lamb Kennedy, age 72, of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2021.

Mrs. Kennedy was born in Monroe Georgia to the late William Hoyt and Elizabeth Peters Lamb.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her step-mother, Christine Lamb.  Mrs. Kennedy was a loving wife, mother, and Maw Maw to her family.  She loved her family and was very involved in her church, Chattahoochee Baptist Church as well as her former church in Grayson, Chestnut Grove Baptist Church. 

Survivors include her husband of 53 years, John Carroll Kennedy, Cleveland; daughter, Janet Kennedy Lovell; sons and daughters-in-law, David and Kristi Kennedy and Paul and Amanda Kennedy; grandchildren, Caleb and Elissa Hipps, Cameron and Nicole Hipps, Caitlyn and J’Isaac Reems, Cara Henderson, Elli Kennedy, Anderson Kennedy, Ealyn Kennedy, Amelia Kennedy, Adalyn Kennedy, and Anley Kennedy; great-grandchildren, Maddie Hipps, Jackson Hipps, and Wesley Reems.

Public graveside services are scheduled for 11 A.M. Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Chattahoochee Baptist Church Cemetery.  Rev. Chris Anderson and Rev. Doug Merck will officiate. 

Due to Covid, a private family visitation will be held.
