Mary Ann Cooper Kirby

Mrs. Mary Ann Cooper Kirby, 73, of Gainesville passed away on Thursday August 26, 2021 at residence due to complications from Alzheimer’s and COVID surrounded by her loving family.

          Funeral services will be held on Sunday August 29, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Revival Baptist Church with the Rev. Wayne Knight, Rev. Scott Lance, and Rev. Matt Day officiating. Interment will follow in Revival Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday August 28, 2021 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

          Mrs. Kirby was born on September 09, 1947 in Gainesville to the late Horace and Estelle Cooper. She was retired from All Ways Caring Home and was a member of Revival Baptist Church. Mrs. Kirby is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Kirby.

          She is survived by her daughters, Anita (Jeff) Buice of Gainesville, Lynn (Scott) Williams of Jefferson, sons, Michael (Stephanie) and Tracy Kirby of Demorest, grandchildren, Casey Buice, McKenzie, Bailey and Matthew Kirby, Katelyn and Makayla Williams, brother, Lamar (Clara) Cooper, sister-in-law, Joan Kirby, brother-in-law, G.W. (Rounette) Kirby, aunts, Inez Crane, Peggy and Julie Ellis, as well as several nieces and nephews.
