Mary Helen Currie

Mrs. Mary Helen Currie, 85, of Gainesville, passed away Saturday, August 28, 2021 at her residence following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Jeremy Scoggins will officiate. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will have a private visitation.

Born on August 22, 1936 in Gainesville, Mrs. Currie was the daughter of the late Tenny and Ivora Westmoreland. She was retired from Lockheed and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Currie is preceded in Death by her husband, Paul Currie; sister, Mayona Moss and brothers, Billy Westmoreland and James Westmoreland.

Mrs. Currie is survived by her daughter and son in law, Lisa Radford and Robert Harrell of Gainesville; son and daughter in law, David and Donna Currie of Macon; granddaughters, Samantha Radford, Sarah Currie, Jada Currie; grandsons, Kurt Radford, Jake Currie, Ben Currie and a number of loving nieces, nephews and other relatives.
