Henry Wallis Reed

Henry Wallis Reed, 91, of Cumming passed away Monday, August 30, 2021. Wallis was a U.S. Air Force veteran serving as a Crew Chief in Germany. Following his military service, he was employed with Lockheed retiring as Director of Production Flight Operations. Following his retirement Wallis enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. Wallis was a member of Hopewell United Methodist Church and is preceded in death by his parents, George Henry and Texar Wallis Reed; sister, Jean Kelly and brother, Wendell Reed.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Shirley Gibson Reed; son, Terry Reed; daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Paul Boyer; grandchildren, Jason Boyer, Dustin and Katie Boyer, Brad and Dallas Boyer, Curtis and Sierra Boyer; 4 great grandchildren; and a sister, Ann Bierwaltes.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 2, at 1:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dennis Bottoms officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens.
