Winston Owen Norris

Mr. Winston Owen Norris, age 77 of Garrison Road, Carnesville passed away Sunday, September 12, 2021 at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.

A son of the late Gibb and Viola Blackwell Norris, he was born December 12, 1943 in Stephens County, Georgia having lived in Stephens and Franklin Counties.  He was a self-employed carpenter and was of the Baptist faith.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Virginia Nations and Mary Stowe.

Survivors include the mother of his children, Linda Norris; three daughters and son-in-law, Anita Norris of Gainesville, Georgia, Vicky and Roger Elliott of Braselton, Georgia and Rhonda Norris of Carnesville, Georgia; son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Samantha Norris of Carnesville, Georgia; eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren; brothers, Marshall Norris of Iva, South Carolina and Charles Norris of Carnesville, Georgia; a number of nieces and nephews.

No visitation or service is planned.
