James “Jamie” Edwin White, Jr.

James “Jamie” Edwin White, Jr, 43 of Dawsonville, GA passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021 after an extended illness. Jamie was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Alpharetta, GA where he served as a home preacher.  He was an expert carpenter.  He loved to play his violin, fishing, and hunting.  He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. 

He is preceded in death by his son, Bobby White; daughter, Shelby White; mother, Donna Nunley; grandparents, Thomas and Virginia White.

He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years Amber White of Dawsonville, GA; children, Trenton White of Dawsonville, GA, Kayla White of Dahlonega, GA, Hadley White of Dawsonville, GA, Callie White of Dawsonville, GA; grandchildren, Willow, Hunter, Paiten; father, James White, Sr.; brothers, Michael Nunley of Indiana, Chad Bennett of Norcross, GA, Nick Brown of Dahlonega, GA, Franklin Nunley of Indiana; sister, Dorothy Paner of Indiana; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. at the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel, with the Reverends, Stephen Davis and Mickey Wheeler officiating. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6:00 -8:00 p.m. and again on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until service time.
